Prop Plays for UFC on FOX 15

jacare-souzaUFC on FOX 15 Date: April 18, 2015 Arena: Prudential Center City: Newark, NJ The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to New Jersey tonight with UFC on FOX 15, headlined by a five round middleweight contest between top contenders Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and Luke Rockhold. The four-fight main card kicks off on FOX at 8pm, with preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 6pm ET and UFC Fight Pass at 4:30pm prior to that. If interested in wagering on these props, or any fights on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays for UFC on FOX 15: Chris Camozzi (+1100) vs Jacare Souza (-1400) Jacare by Submission (-150) 1.5u to win 1u Jacare in Round One (-150) 1.5u to win 1u Jacare -3.5 (-800) 2u to win .25u I don’t expect this rematch to be any different than their initial bout. I think Jacare will try to get this one over with faster than the first time he finished Camozzi, which took under four minutes. Cub Swanson (-150) vs Max Holloway (+140) Swanson by Decision (+153) 1u to win 1.53u I think this fight hits the judges’ scorecards, where I favor Swanson to take the nod. I think Holloway is banged up heading into this contest, as he was forced into this fight right after his fight against Cole Miller. God knows what kind of minor injures he sustained in that contest, or what minor lingering injuries he went into that fight with. It’s a slim chance he went in injury free and came out injury free and is still injury free after another training camp. I think Swanson by Decision is the most likely outcome to this featherweight contest and I like it for a play. Corey Anderson (-365) vs Gian Villante (+328) Anderson by T/KO (+280) .5u to win 1.4u Anderson ITD (+193) 1u to win 1.93u Anderson -3.5 (-170) 1.7u to win 1u In short, I expect Anderson to make this a one-sided contest, likely earning a stoppage once Villante begins to fade. George Sullivan (+155) vs Tim Means (-165) Sullivan by Decision (+235) 1u to win 2.35u Sullivan is at a striking disadvantage in this welterweight match-up, but he holds an advantage in grappling, which I think he will use en route to picking up a decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think he spends a good amount of time pressuring Means against the cage in this contest and peppering him with strikes. In what will likely be an uneventful bout, I favor Sullivan’s chances of getting the job done, and more often than not I think it will come on the cards.
