UFC Fight Night 60’s Efrain Escudero: ‘I’m back to my basics’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 60 lightweight Efrain Escudero about his upcoming preliminary card bout Saturday night (Feb. 14, 2015) against Rodrigo de Lima at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

The former Ultimate Fighter winner believes that going back to his roots will help him get back on track in regards to his UFC career during his third stint with the promotion:

“If I want to take these guys down, I’ll take them down and if I want to stand with them, I’ll stand with them. Trust me, I’m back to my basics when it comes to my wrestling. Going back, I have my high school wrestling coach in my corner. He’s my godfather. He’s the one that took me off the streets, made sure I went back to school so I put a lot into this that has helped me out a lot.”
