WSOF 10’s Jessica Aguilar: ‘Japanese fighters are always tough’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting 10 strawweight champion Jessica Aguilar as she prepares for her main card title bout on Saturday night (June 21, 2014) against Emi Fujino at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The current World Series of Fighting champion is ranked number one in the world at 115 pounds, but she expects a very difficult fight against an experienced foe come Saturday night:

“She’s been around for a while. She has a lot of experience. She’s really tough. She’s fought some really good opponents. She’s fought some of the same competitors as me. She’s fought Megumi and she fought some of the girls Megumi has fought. She didn’t win that fight but she’s still tough. She fought Megumi’s prodigy and her last loss was Mezuki Inoue. I’ve had more fights but she’s had tough opponents. I think we’re pretty even. Japanese fighters are always tough. They come to fight so she’s gonna be a tough one.”
