Bellator 120’s Mike Richman: ‘Goiti Yamauchi leaves lots of openings’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 120 featherweight Mike Richman as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (May 17, 2014) against Goiti Yamauchi at the Landers Center in South Haven, Mississippi.

The multi-time tournament participant is a solid striker, and he feels that his upcoming opponent will give him plenty of opportunities to showcase his skills tonight:

“[Yamauchi] seems to like to scrap. But he seems to leave a lot of openings for my style. I just have to believe in my footwork and my stand-up game will be the edge in this fight. Fighting a fighter like him, he gives you opportunities to connect your shots, to exchange. If you give me that kind of fight, you give me the edge against that type of opponent.”
