UFC 168’s Travis Browne: ‘I don’t like giving guys a chance to quit’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 168 heavyweight Travis Browne as he prepares for his main card bout tonight (Dec. 28, 2013) against Josh Barnett at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The native Hawaiian is coming off the biggest victory of his career, and he knows exactly what to expect against former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett later tonight:

“It’s no secret. It’s no secret where we’re each going to try to keep the fight. I’m not going into this fight trying to submit Josh Barnett. I don’t want to submit anybody. I don’t want to. I don’t train my ass off for two months, remove myself from my kids, from my family, from my friends for two months to out there and give a guy a chance and be like, ‘Oh I’m sorry, that was too tight. I’m gonna have to tap out.’ No. I’m looking to put you to sleep, break your face, do something to you that will always make you remember the reason why you lost to me. That’s what pushes me every day. I don’t want to give you a chance to quit, I want to make the ref step in and say, ‘If I wasn’t here, this guy would be dead.’ I don’t like giving guys a chance to quit.”
