MMA Odds and Ends for Thursday: Five Crazy UFC Fight Night 31 Prop Bets That Cashed Big

Romero UFC Fight Night 31 took place last night at Fort Campbell, KY, and the card proved its worth with a ton of surprising knockouts and submissions and upsets. For today’s MMA Odds and Ends, I will look at five crazy prop bets that hit last night, and that would have made you a lot of money if you bet on them. Tim Kennedy wins in round one (+425) In the main event of the evening, Tim Kennedy knocked out Rafael Natal in front of his fellow troops with a leaping left hook to take home the “Knockout of the Night” award. Kennedy winning in round one wasn’t a popular pick, but if you bet it congrats because a +425 hit is always a nice way to cap off the night. Yoel Romero wins in round three (+800) In a middleweight barnburner, Ronny Markes and Yoel Romero combined for an awesome little tilt of violence that ended in the third round with a one-punch KO courtesy of the Cuban Romero. The prop on Romero to win in round three cashed out at +800, so if anyone was on that congrats on your winnings because that was huge. Bobby Green wins by T/KO (+600)/Green wins in round one (+900) In a lightweight bout that was full of controversy, Bobby Green was awarded a T/KO win over James Krause after he kicked Krause in the body. Many observers believed that Green had hit Krause in the groin and deserved to be DQed, but I agreed with the decision by referee Big John McCarthy as I think it was a legal body blow. The prop on Green to win via T/KO cashed out at +600 and the prop on Green to win in round one was +900, so if you had those props, good job, although luck definitely played a factor as many referees would have deemed it a DQ win for Krause. Amanda Nunes wins by T/KO (+405) In a preliminary card women’s bantamweight bout, Amanda Nunes took down Germaine De Randamie with ease and TKOed her with punches in the first round after De Randamie stopped defending herself. The prop on Nunes to win by T/KO cashed at +405, so congrats if you hit that one. Seth Baczynski wins by decision (+412) And finally, in one of the Facebook prelims, Seth Baczynski outpointed Neil Magny en route to a unanimous decision win to cash as an underdog. The prop on Baczynski winning by decision cashed out at +412, so if you hit that prop, congrats on your earnings.
