The initial tournament replacement has done a great job in the second rounds of his fights, and he feels his lack of a significant weight cut could play a big part come Friday night:
“In both my fights I did lose the first round. On the cards I was down. I ended up on bottom both fights. The first one I went for a stupid submission and got caught but in the second rounds I was good. You can see on the face of both my opponents that they were tired going into the second round and I just turned it on. It was all good from there.”
