Bellator 102’s Scott Cleve: ‘Training in Colorado feels like I’ve got oxygen tied to my back’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator featherweight Scott Cleve as he gets prepared for his Bellator 102 preliminary card bout tonight (Oct. 4, 2013) against Isaac DeJesus at the Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California.

The Colorado-based fighter has done his homework in advance of his upcoming preliminary card fight and he expects DeJesus to bring it on the feet:

“From the film I’ve seen, he seems like more of a striker. Not a technical style striker but more of a brawler. He TKO’d Nam Phan and he went three rounds with Leonard Garcia so that says something about his chin. I think he does all right, but his weakest point is his ground game. He gets taken down and doesn’t really offer much from the ground. not to say he doesn’t have it, but he doesn’t like using it. He’s a stand-and-banger kind of guy.”
