LFA 74 takes place at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California on Friday (August 30, 2019) at 9 p.m. ET live on AXS TV. Heavyweights Jared Vanderaa and Renan Ferreira. are slated to duke it out in the main event.
Vanderaa (9-3) has won his last three fights, including winning and defending the EFC Heavyweight Title in South Africa, although he’s still searching for his first win under the LFA banner. “The Mountain” most recently finished Ricky Misholas via second round TKO at EFC 77 this past March. Ferreira (5-2) also is hunting for his first LFA victory after he was disqualified in his promotional debut. He most recently lost to Brett Martin due to illegal blows to the back of the head in the first round of the LFA 70 main event this past June.
In the co-main event, a pair of bantamweights will battle as Ryan Lilley takes on Kevin Wirth.
Lilley (10-4) holds a 1-1 record under the LFA banner. He most recently scored a first round knockout against James Barnes at Bellator 214 this past January. Wirth (7-1) also has a 1-1 record in LFA. He most recently extended his winning streak to two by defeating Carlos Puente Jr. via second round rear naked choke in May.
