LFA 31 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 31 takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday (Jan. 19, 2017) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. With featherweight champion Kevin Aguilar sidelined due to injury, the interim 145-pound title is up for grabs in the main event as Bobby Moffett faces Thanh Le.

Moffett (10-2) has won back-to-back fights since losing to former RFA champion and current UFC featherweight Raoni Barcelos in 2016. The MMA Lab product is coming off a unanimous decision win over Roufusport’s Nate Jennerman at LFA 20 in August. Le (7-1) heads into this matchup off a second-round TKO victory over Lazar Stojadinovic at Dana White’s Contender Series 2 and surprisingly wasn’t picked up by the UFC following that win. The 32-year-old hasn’t lost since his professional debut in November 2013 and has finished all of his opponents during that span.

A middleweight matchup serves as the evening’s co-main event as Factory X standout Ian Heinisch squares off with Daniel Madrid. Heinisch (8-1) is coming off the first loss of his career as he was submitted in the first-round against current UFC middleweight Markus Perez at LFA 22 in September. “The Hurricane” has submitted two of his last four opponents.
