MMA Odds and Ends for Monday: Joanna Jedrzejczyk carries Olympic torch

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk carried the 2018 winter Olympic torch for Poland over the weekend. The Olympics will be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. She seemed to really enjoy herself during the experience.

Mamed Khalidov vs Tomasz Narkun at KSW 42

KSW announced that middleweight champion Mamed Khalidov will return to the promotion on March 3rd to take on challenger Tomasz Narkun. Khalidov (34-4-2) has not lost a fight in nearly eight years, winning 14 straight contests including the likes of UFC veterans Jesse Taylor, Kendall Grove and Luke Barnatt. Narkun (14-2) has won five straight bouts under the KSW banner and has only gone to decision one time in his career. Obviously, Khalidov will open the betting favorite, but Narkun presents a unique challenge.
