Titan FC 47 takes place at Xtreme Action Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Friday (Dec. 15, 2017) at 7 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. The vacant featherweight title is on the line in the main event as undefeated Sodiq Yusuff faces Luis Raul Gomez Alvarez.
Yusuff (5-0) is coming off a 30-second knockout victory over Vadim Ogar at CFFC 66 in August and will be making his promotional debut. The 24-year-old has won three of his five-career fights by knockout. Alvarez (5-1) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Guilherme Costa at last month’s Titan FC 46 card. Most people will remember the 22-year-old for losing via third-round submission to Dan Ige on Dana White’s Contender Series 3 back in July. Alvarez has only gone the distance twice in his five-fight career.
A heavyweight matchup takes place on the main card as Edison Lopes battles Michel Batista. Lopes (8-3) will be making his North American debut and is coming off a 42-second submission loss to Ricardo Prasel at Aspera FC 55 in September. Batista (3-0 NC) will also be making his Titan FC debut and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Drew Stewart at Fight Time 35. The 33-year-old made his pro debut in January 2016.
