Bellator 186 Closing Odds and Betting Results

Bellator 186 took place Friday, November 3 2017 in University Park, Pennsylvania. The card was headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Ryan Bader and challenger Linton Vassell. It was a big night for the favorites as they swept the main card of this event.

Favorites that Won

Ryan Bader was able to secure takedowns at will and scored effective ground and pound in the second round to earn a TKO victory over Linton Vassell to defend his light heavyweight championship. The champion closed a -525 favorite while Vassell closed +415.

Ilima McFarlane got the best of the striking throughout the fight, but it wasn’t until the fifth round when she was able to secure an armbar on Emily Ducote to become the initial Bellator flyweight champion. McFarlane closed -310 while Ducote closed +255.

Phil Davis controlled every minute of his fight with Brazilian Leo Leite to win a 30-27 decision across the board. Davis closed the biggest favorite on the card at -1000. Leite was the biggest underdog on the card at +650.

After a dominant first round, Ed Ruth continued his form as he landed a punch behind the ear of his opponent Chris Dempsey knocking him out cold to win by second round knockout. The undefeated Ruth closed -900 with Dempsey closing +600 in defeat. 

Saad Awad made quick work of Zach Freeman knocking him out in just over one minute of the first round. Awad closed -210 while Freeman closed +175.
