PFL: Fight Night takes place at Washington Hilton in Washington D.C. this Thursday (November 2, 2017) at 9pm ET. In the main event, former WSOF heavyweight champion Blagoi Ivanov looks for his fifth straight win when he battles Caio Alencar.
Ivanov (15-1) heads into this matchup off a first-round TKO victory over UFC veteran Shawn Jordan at WSOF 35, which was his third stoppage victory in his last four fights. The 31-year-old has only gone the distance once in his last six fights. Alencar (11-1) is also coming off a first-round TKO win over a UFC veteran in Jared Rosholt and will be looking for his fifth straight win.
In the co-main event, former WSOF featherweight champion Lance Palmer battles UFC veteran Steven Siler. Palmer (11-3) has lost two of his last three fights including a unanimous decision setback to Andre Harrison at WSOF 35. The Team Alpha Male product looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in his career. Siler (29-16) looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time since 2014. The former UFC lightweight has lost two of his last three fights.
Also on the card is Strikeforce veteran Mike Kyle taking on Victory FC champion Daniel Gallemore. Kyle (22-15-1) Kyle has lost three of his last four fights including a unanimous decision setback to Josh Copeland at PFL Everett in his last fight. The 37-year-old has lost three of his last four fights. Gallemore (22-15-1) has won three-straight fights by stoppage and has won six of his last seven fights. “Big Kansas” hasn’t lost a fight since June 2015.
