Bellator 185 Closing Odds and Betting Results

Bellator 185 took place Friday, October 20 2017 in Uncasville, Connecticut. The card was headlined by Gegard Mousasi taking on former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko.

Favorites that Won

In his Bellator debut, Gegard Mousasi had a difficult fight Alexander Shlemenko narrowly winning a decision in which he was a -820 favorite. Shlemenko closed +560.

Neiman Gracie extended his winning streak to start his career to seven as he submitted Zak Bucia in the second round. Gracie is now 5-0 in Bellator and ready for a true step up in competition. Gracie closed a -515 favorite while Bucia closed +410.

Ryan Quinn was the better fighter on the night getting the better of the action against Marcus Surin in the first two rounds before dropping round three to win a decision on the scorecards. Quinn closed -185 with the return on Surin +160.

Underdogs that Won

In the most entertaining fight of the night, Kristina Williams made the most of the televised opportunity as she landed a head kick flush to Heather Hardy’s nose in round two busting her wide open. At the end of the round, the doctor decided not to let the fight continue as Williams scored a major upset of the former boxing world champion. Williams closed a +360 underdog. Hardy closed -450.

Lisa Blaine employed a grappling heavy approach controlling former boxing champion Ana Julaton on the ground in two of the three rounds to win a split decision. Blaine closed a +130 underdog while Julaton closed -150.
