The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Las Vegas, NV with UFC 216: Ferguson vs. Lee. The 12-fight card is scheduled to kick off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 6:45 p.m. ET. Prelims will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card getting going on on Pay Per View at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are made available at Several Bookmakers.

Duquesnoy/Stamman (+550) || 1u to win 5.5u

This is a matchup pitting two surging 135-pound prospects against each other inside the Octagon, both of them being 1-0 in the promotion. Tom Duquesnoy is coming off a first round knockout of Patrick Williams, while Cody Stamman is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Terrion Ware, in what was a battle of short notice promotional newcomers. Both of these bantamweights have a bright future in the division and a victory here could potentially earn ‘em a ranked opponent their next time out. This is definitely a fight to keep an eye on, as both bantamweights could be around for a while in the UFC. Stylistically, I think this is a recipe for a fun fight, as both 135-pounders have a “no quit” attitude and look to deliver exciting performances. Should they manage to take home the bonus, it would be the first time for both.

Botelho/Gonzalez (+2200) 1u to win 22u

Poliana Botelho is making her UFC debut against Gonzalez, who is coming off a third round rear naked choke submission loss to Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 210 six months ago. She will be looking to pick up her first Octagon victory as she welcomes Botelho to the promotion in this contest. I think the pair could definitely put on a fan friendly fight, and at +2200, I definitely think this is worth a play. I think this fight is the dark horse to take home the bonus and I love the odds I am getting for it. If these ladies manage to get the crowd behind them, we could very well be cashing the big one. Should these women’s strawweights take home the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would certainly be the first time for the both of them.

Schnell/Beltran (+2200) 1u to win 22u

Matt Schnell and Marco Beltran will be kicking off the televised UFC 216 preliminary card on FOX Sports 1, and regardless of how long it lasts, I think this will be a fun scrap that gets things rolling on a high note. Win or lose, both 125-pounders generally deliver entertaining performances. Both flyweights are on a two-fight skid inside the Octagon and has their backs against the wall heading into this one, At +2200, I think this is worth a shot, because as long as this fight doesn’t end early, I think it will stand a decent chance of earning ‘Fight of the Night’ honors this evening. Should that happen, it would be the first time for both fighters.

2017 FOTN results: 5–6 for +5.75u
