Glory 47 Opening Betting Odds

Glory 47 emanates from Palais des Sports in Gerland, Lyon (October 27, 2017) live on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN 3. In the main event, Artem Vakhitov defends his light heavyweight title against Ariel Machado.

Vakhitov (18-5) heads into this matchup on a five-fight win streak including a TKO victory over Saulo Cavalari in their rematch at Glory 38: Chicago. The 26-year-old has gone 13-1 since losing three-straight fights from 2010 to 2011. Machado (45-8) has gone 3-2 under the Glory banner and competes for his first Glory championship.

In the co-main event, Cedric Doumbe looks to rebound from his loss to Murthel Groenhart in September when he battles 130-fight veteran Yohan Lidon. Doumbe (66-6-1) had his 12-fight win streak snapped in his last bout after losing by split decision to Groenhart at Glory 44 Chicago. The 25-year-old has never lost back-to-back fights in his career. Lidon (93-36-1) has won three of his last four fights including a knockout win over Florian Kroger at Fight Night Saint-Tropez in September. The 34-year-old will be competing under the Glory banner for just the second time in his career.

MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas opened the betting odds for the following bouts on the Glory 47 card today at Several Bookmakers.
