Bellator 184 Closing Odds and Betting Results

Bellator 184 took place Friday, October 6, 2017 in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The card was headlined by a bantamweight title fight between champion Eduardo Dantas and Darrion Caldwell.

Favorites that Won

In what ended up be a chess match both on the feet as well as in the grappling exchanges, Darrion Caldwell was able control the exchanges against the fence to win a five round decision and dethrone Eduardo Dantas to become the Bellator Bantamweight Champion. Caldwell closed a -125 favorite while Dantas closed a +105 underdog. 

Pat Curran was able to buckle John Teixeira in the first round to take an early lead in the fight, but it was his combination of striking and takedowns in the final two rounds which saw him win a unanimous decision on the scorecards. Curran closed -135 with the return on Teixeira +115.

Leandro Higo won a competitive fight against veteran Joe Taimanglo to win a decision on all three scorecards. Higo closed a -245 favorite while Taimanglo closed +205. 

Underdogs that Won

Emmanuel Sanchez absolutely dominated Daniel Straus on the ground eventually securing a third round submission win. Sanchez closed a +115 underdog while Straus closed at -135.
