Saturday Night Sees Bare Knuckle Boxing 7

Looking for something different in the world of combat sport? Check out Several Bookmakers for lines on Bare Knuckle Boxing this Saturday, September 9th. Seven of the fights scheduled for this weekend in this new format are getting attention and lines at Several Bookmakers.

England has seen a bare knuckle boxing scene thrive on a smaller scale for years and in early 2017, the largely underground scene made some noise in the mainstream media by attracting former UFC fighters to take part in their events. At the Bare Knuckle Boxing 4 event, Joe Riggs even won a title in this new format. The fight can be seen on YouTube and it is already getting more views than your average Riggs video.

For BKB 7 this Saturday, Riggs is back to face Ricky Nelder. Riggs has now fought under the bare knuckle format on several occasions and he should be over the adjustment period. It is interesting to see Riggs favored in his fight by a wider margin than any of the other fights on the card.

Notably, the biggest underdog on the card is former UFC fighter Melvin Guillard. Guillard has attended these events with Riggs throughout the year and “The Young Assassin” has talked his way into a fight for BKB7. Guillard is facing rugged Jimmy Sweeney in his bare knuckle dance.

As mentioned, Several Bookmakers has recently started looking at BKB events and fans of the combat sports will notice very competitive lines up and down the card. Below are the last minute lines as they stand today. It’s worth checking out for something that is sure to be more fundamentally raw than UFC or boxing is today.
