MMA Odds and Ends for Tuesday: Jonathan Wilson takes on newcomer Oskar Piechota at UFC Fight Night 118

Light heavyweight Jonathan Wilson revealed on his Instagram that he’s dropping down to middleweight to face newcomer Oskar Piechota at UFC Fight Night 118, which takes place October 21st at Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland.

Wilson (7-2) hasn’t competed since a unanimous-decision setback to Ion Cutelaba at UFC Fight Night 96 last October. “Johnny Bravo” has dropped back-to-back fights since starting his career 7-0.

Meanwhile, Piechota (9-0-1) has finished all but one of his opponents, and he is the former Cage Warriors middleweight champion. The 27-year-old is coming off back-to-back knockout wins.
