LFA 19 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 19 takes place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this Friday (August 18th, 2017) at 9 p.m. (ET) on AXS TV. In the main event, UFC veteran David Michaud battles Brazil’s Ciro Rodrigues.

Michaud (11-3) has gone 3-1 since his UFC release in 2015, with his lone blemish a controversial unanimous-decision setback to Dhiego Lima at Titan FC 39. Each of the three victories during that stretch have come by stoppage for The MMA Lab standout. Rodrigues (20-7) makes his North American debut and has won seven of his last eight fights. The 28-year-old boasts 12 career wins by knockout.

The evening’s co-feature pits Factory-X’s Sid Bice against Ken Porter. Bice (7-1) has won back-to-back fights since losing his first professional bout to Pedro Nobre at Titan FC 38 in April 2016. “Vicious” is coming off a unanimous-decision win over Cody Land at LFA: Sioux Falls Fight Night 1 in April. Porter (10-3 1 No-Contest) has won six of his last seven fights, with his lone loss being a unanimous-decision setback to Jackson/Winklejohn standout Nick Urso at RFA 44 last September. The 27-year-old has only gone the distance three times in his 14-fight career, and he has five wins by submission.

Also on the main card is former Titan FC title challenger Marcus Edwards, who moves up to the welterweight division to take on Clarence Jordan. Edwards (12-5) is coming off a TKO loss to Adam Townsend at LFA 5 in February, which snapped his two-fight win streak. The 28-year-old will be competing at 170 pounds for the first time in his career. Jordan (10-3-1) has won three fights in a row, including a split-decision victory over Chris Hugh at North Star Combat 7 in March. The 28-year-old will be making his LFA debut.
