MMA Odds and Ends for Monday: Robbie Lawler vs. Donald Cerrone rebooked for UFC 214

Lance Pugmire of the LA Times reported over the weekend that the welterweight matchup between Robbie Lawler and Donald Cerrone has been rebooked for UFC 214 on July 29th in Anaheim.

Lawler (27-11, 1 No-Contest) was originally slated to fight Cerrone this Saturday at UFC 213. However, “Cowboy” Cerrone had to pull out of the fight due to a blood infection. Meanwhile, the former welterweight champion Lawler hasn’t competed since losing his title to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201 in July 2016.

Cerrone (32-8, 1 NC) looks to bounce back from a second-round TKO loss to Jorge Masvidal in January. The loss snapped the former lightweight title challenger’s four-fight win streak.

Here’s an updated look at the card…

Daniel Cormier (c) vs. Jon Jones – light heavyweight title
Tyron Woodley (c) vs. Demian Maia – welterweight title
Cris Cyborg vs. Tonya Evinger
Donald Cerrone vs. Robbie Lawler
Jimi Manuwa vs. Volkan Oezdemir
Brian Ortega vs. Renato Moicano
Ricardo Lamas vs. Jason Knight
Renan Barao vs. Aljamain Sterling
Sage Northcutt vs. John Makdessi
Kailin Curran vs. Alexandra Albu
Josh Burkman vs. Drew Dober
Sara McMann vs. Ketlen Vieira
Jarred Brooks vs. Eric Shelton
