Randy Couture Announces Assistant Coaches and Talks ‘Fight Master’

Everyone knows what a large role ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ played in the sport of MMA reaching the popularity that it has today. Bellator and Spike TV are now attempting to use a reality show to increase the exposure for their brand, although it is said to be significantly different than TUF. ‘Fight Master’ has gotten solid reviews from those who have been lucky enough to screen the premiere episode, and it will be interesting to see both how the show plays out, and what the response is to it over the next few months. MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg recently spoke with one of the coaches for the show, the legendary Randy Couture, about Bellator’s new reality series, including who Couture brought along as his assistant coaches, the format of the show, and his opposing coaches. Fight Master premieres Wednesday, June 19th at 10pm EST on Spike TV, immediately following Bellator 96. MMA Oddsbreaker will also be featuring a weekly vlog with Randy Couture recapping the most recent episode.
