UFC Fight Night 105’s Paul Felder: ‘I’ve had my back against the fence, I know that feeling’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 105 lightweight Paul Felder as he prepares for his main card bout this Sunday night (February 19, 2017) against Alessandro Ricci at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

“I feel like I always do. I’ve been there before, (last time) coming off a loss, I thought I was going to jump right back when I fought Ross Pearson, and I got two (losses) in a row. So I’ve had my back against the fence, I know that feeling. The last time I had my back against the fence like this, I came out and got a submission victory over (Daron) Cruickshank when it was kind of like a loser might go home situation. I’m not even trying to ever get there again. I don’t ever want two (losses) in a row. With the way the organization is now, you never know. They’re letting guys go, letting contracts ride out. It’s kind of nerve-wracking.”
