Preliminary Card Parlay for UFC Fight Night 104

008_Tecia_Torres_vs_Felice_HerrigUFC Fight Night 104: Bermudez vs Korean Zombie Date: February 4, 2016 Arena: Toyota Center City: Houston, TX The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Houston, TX for the fifth time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 104: Bermudez vs Korean Zombie. The 12-fight card kicks off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET, and the prelims continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm, with the main card getting underway at 10pm. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakers. Here is my parlay: Women’s Bantamweight bout: Tecia Torres (-280) vs Bec Rawlings (+240) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is a rematch of an unofficial match that took place between the two on TUF 24, where Torres defeated Rawlings by unanimous decision after only two rounds of exhibition action. I think things will play out a similar way in this contest and I ultimately see Torres getting her hand raised, almost certainly by decision, as 100% of her victories have come on the judges’ scorecards. I think Rawlings has improved since their last meeting, but I do not see her getting past Torres. This fight may end up being closer than expected because Torres already has a win over her and is not excited about the match-up. That said, I think this is her fight to lose and think she should be a -350 betting favorite heading in, so like her for a play at her current offering price of -280. Gabe’s Call: Torres by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Alex Morono (-105) vs Niko Price (-115) Gabe’s Thoughts: This match-up is a very quick turnaround for both fighters, as Morono defeated James Moontasri via unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 23 a few weeks ago and Price defeated Brandon Thatch via first round arm triangle choke submission a couple of weeks ago in what was his short notice promotional debut. It is a quicker turnaround for Price, but he did not take any damage in his fight, while Morono took quite a bit in his. I think Price will be the fresher fighter heading into this contest and unlike Morono, he will not have hometown pressure behind him. Gabe’s Call: Price by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommeded Parlay: Torres (-280) and Price (-115) at +153 for 2.7u to win 4.15u All of my content and plays are free.
