Two-Way Parlay for WSOF 34

Jake ShieldsWSOF 34: Gaethje vs Firmino Date: December 31, 2016 Arena: Madison Square Garden City: New York City, NY World Series of Fighting is back with WSOF 34: Gaethje vs Firmino. The main card gets underway at 4pm ET on the NBS Sports Network. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakers. Here are my plays: Welterweight bout: Paul Bradley (-120) vs Yushin Okami (+100) Gabe’s Thoughts: At this point in their careers, I believe Bradley is the superior fighter of the two and has the brighter future in the sport. I think he still has a future, while I think Okami’s best days are behind him and feel he should be hanging up the gloves. Bradley is tough, durable and a great wrestler. I see him outstriking and outwrestling Okami here for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards, potentially securing a T/KO stoppage along the way. I loved him at +130 but think he holds great value at -120, as well. I would not be surprised to see him close around -180. Gabe’s Call: Bradley by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight title bout: Jon Fitch (+160) vs Jake Shields (-185) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Shields is the superior mixed martial artist of the two at this point in their careers and see him getting the better of Fitch in this five round title fight, ultimately becoming the new WSOF welterweight champion. Fitch is an excellent wrestler but I see Shields getting the better of him in the grappling in this contest for the majority of five rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards, potentially securing a submission along the way. Much like with the Bradley/Okami bout, I think Shields still has a bright future ahead of him in this sport, while Fitch’s best days seem to be behind him. Gabe’s Call: Shields by Submission (rear naked choke, 3:41 round 4) Gabe’s Recommeded Parlay: Bradley (-120) and Shields (-185) at +182 for 3.65u to win 6.65
