elvis mutapcicTUF 24 Finale Date: December 3, 2016 Arena: The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back at The Pearl at Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas for The Ultimate Fighter Season 24 Finale. The 12-fight card is scheduled to kick off with prelminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm, and prelims will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm and culminate with the main card on the same channel at 10pm. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakers. Here are my plays: Women’s Strawweight bout: Kailin Curran (-150) vs Jamie Moyle (+130) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this is more or less a coin-flip match-up in the UFC’s women’s 115-pound division, and I think there’s a bit of betting value with Moyle at her current offering underdog price-tag of +130, however I am going to opt to not play that. Instead, I will take the Total of Over 2.5 rounds at -185 and parlay it. While Curran has been finished in all three of her UFC losses, I think Moyle is more likely to win on the scorecards in this contest than she is to put her away. I also think Moyle is able to survive three rounds against the Hawaiian, should Curran come through with great improvement in her game and deliver the best performance of her career. Bottom line, I think the Over 1.5 at -185 is the right side here. Gabe’s Call: Moyle by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Middleweight bout: Anthony Smith (-120) vs Elvis Mutapcic (+100) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I favor this 185-pound contest to reach the judges’ scorecards for a decision much more often than not, so I see a lot of value in the Total of Over 1.5 rounds at it’s currently offered price of -180. Gabe’s Call: Mutapcic by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommeded Parlay: Curran/Moyle Over 2.5 rounds (-185) and Smith/Mutapcic Over 1.5 rounds (-180) at +139 2.15u to win 3u
