Bellator 166’s A.J. McKee: ‘They’re just starting to figure out that I’m a force to be reckoned with’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 166 featherweight A.J. McKee in advance of his bout against Ray Wood this Friday (December 2, 2016) at WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

McKee talks about originally scheduled opponent Emmanuel Sanchez and fighting a replacement on short notice:

“This happened my last fight as well. So for me, I think they’re just starting to figure out that I’m a force to be reckoned with. I think they’re just pulling out left and right. My dad knows a lot of people in the game, the coaches and what not, he grew up fighting with them. So I feel like they’re telling their students, if you’re not ready, don’t do this. I feel like the division’s just starting to recognize, and they’re not trying to take these fights. Sooner or later, someone’s going to have to fight. They all can’t run and hide.”
