Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC Vegas 121 Opening Odds:
- The main event of UFC Vegas 121 is a five-round bantamweight bout between Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni Barcelos. Rosas is 6-1 overall in the UFC and is riding a five-fight win streak at the moment, including a dominant win over veteran Rob Font in his last bout, where he racked up 16 takedowns. As for Barcelos, he has won five straight fights as well and is generally one of the most underrated fighters in the weight class. Although you cannot completely count out Barcelos in this spot, the fact that Rosas is 17 years younger should give him the edge he needs to win the biggest fight of his career.
- In the co-main event, we have a middleweight bout between Robert Bryczek and Rodolfo Vieira. Bryczek is 1-2 in the UFC and is probably fighting to keep his job on the roster in this bout, so he needs a win. As for Vieira, he is 6-5 overall in the UFC, but he has lost his last two bouts, and he could also be in a situation where he needs to get his hand raised, or he could potentially be released. With so much on the line, expect an exciting fight between the two veteran middleweights here.
