Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC Vegas 110 Opening Odds:
- In the main event of UFC Vegas 110, we have featherweights Steve Garcia and David Onama going at it. Garcia has won six straight fights, while Onama has won four fights in a row, so this fight pits two of the hottest featherweight contenders against each other. Both men will be looking for the knockout, but you have to lean towards Garcia given the roll he’s on.
- In the co-main event, Waldo Cortes-Acosta battles Ante Delija at heavyweight. Cortes-Acosta lost to Sergei Pavlovic in his last bout by knockout, but he had won five straight fights before that. As for Delija, he knocked out Marcin Tybura in his UFC debut. As many heavyweight fights go, this one can likely go either way, with a slight lean towards the powerful Delija.
- In the women’s bantamweight division, Norma Dumont fights Ketlen Vieira. Dumont has won five straight fights as she has emerged as a serious title threat at 135 lbs. As for Vieira, she has won two of her last three bouts entering this contest. This should be a good fight between two of the best women’s bantamweights, but you have to favor Dumont to win a decision.
