“The main event of F2W is a showcase match between multiple time world champion Romulo Barral and Tanner Rice who was at one time the youngest American BJJ Black Belt. Barral will pit his legend status against a younger and possibly hungrier competitor. Barral has not been very active in recent years and it was thought he’d retire a few years back. He still appears to be in top shape and has continued to pump out great competitors out of his gym Gracie Barra Northridge. Tanner will look to play spoiler of Barral’s F2W debut. He will have to rely on his aggressive guard work and capitalize on the shorter time period.”

Marcio Andre vs Ronaldo Jr

“Young veteran vs hyped prospect, that’s what the co-main event is all about when Marcio Andre takes on Ronaldo Jr. Marcio Andre made a name for himself tearing through the color belts winning world title after world title. Andre continued to find success at black belt and has placed 2nd in the world championships on two occasions.

Ronaldo Jr, had a similar route through the colored belts. His smooth and dynamic top game and elite training at Atos leaves many believing he will be a top level athlete for years to come. Ronaldo missed out on a match vs Gordon Ryan a few weeks ago & narrowly lost to Vagner Rocha by decision. He will enjoy a bit of a size edge over Marcio but this will be his highest profile match yet.”
