Titan FC 54 takes place at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida tonight (Friday, April 26, 2019) at 8 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. The featherweight and lightweight titles will be on the line in the main and co-main event.
In the main event, champion Jason Soares takes on Ariston Franca for the 145-pound belt. Soares (12-0) has only tasted defeat on The Ultimate Fighter, most recently defeating Caio Uruguai via first round knockout at Titan FC 52 in January to retain the Titan Featherweight Title. Franca (10-4) is making his promotional debut stepping in for Anderson Hutchinson on short notice. He is riding a two-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Manassas dos Santos via knockout in just 31 seconds this past November.
The co-main event features a lightweight fight between a pair of Brazilians as Rafael Alves takes on Felipe Douglas. Alves (17-9) is riding a three-fight winning streak, with his last two victories coming under the Titan FC banner. He most recently submitted Beibit Nazarov via third round guillotine choke at Titan FC 50 last June. Douglas (17-4) is making his Titan FC debut and has won four consecutive bouts, most recently defeating UFC veteran Yosdenis Cedeno via unanimous decision this past February.
