Chad Mendes Interviewed By Frank Trigg Prior To UFC on FOX 7 Apr 19, 2013

Chad Mendes has long been considered one of the top Featherweights in MMA. After defeating some of the top 145ers in the world, he had an unsuccessful attempt at dethroning Jose Aldo. Since that time Mendes has been showcasing his improving striking in a bid to get back into a title shot. The only problem is that it seems nobody wants to fight the Team Alpha Male product, and for good reason.

That changes this Saturday, when Mendes takes on Darren Elkins, who sports a five-fight win streak and stepped up on short notice for this fight. Frank Trigg recently spoke with Mendes to get his thoughts on the fight, take a look:
